In a recent publication, the Tories proclaim that the Chester theatre is “approved”. This will seem odd to many residents since the Tories have not yet selected a site, not got planning permission, not resolved “complex legal, financial and contractual issues” and not got funding. One wonders how this can be described as “approved”.
